Introducing PGP SafeBulk :
Welcome to the world of safe bulk mailing with PGP.
PGP SafeBulk contains many powerful and cool features which makes it possible to easily
send huge amounts of e-mails to many recipients with less fuss - VERY FAST !
PGP SafeBulk also seamlessly support PGP so you can send encrypted messages and attachments to
recipients who use PGP, just as easy and fast as sending normal unencrypted mails !
You can send normal unencrypted mails at the same time as you send PGP encrypted messages
and attached files - all in one easy step.
You don't even need to have PGP installed to use PGP SafeBulk, only if you plan to use the
PGP specific features.
PGP is very small, fast, efficient and easy to both install and use - so you can start using
the program within a few minutes.
Important notice :
PGP SafeBulk currently does not support PGP version 7.0 and above !
Until NAI release the source code for PGP 7, PGP SafeBulk will not support this version since
it may contain backdoors or other undocumentet features.
Until further notice, only use PGP version 6.x with PGP SafeBulk.
About PGP SafeBulk :
PGP SafeBulk is a powerfull yet very easy to use group mailer with native PGP support.

is able to know any other recipients - regardless of the recipient is recieving a normal unencrypted
message or an secure PGP encrypted message.
PGP SafeBulk can send plain unencrypted messages to recipients which don't use PGP and PGP
encrypted messages to recipients who use PGP - you can send both types of e-mails in one single
step, no need to send normal unencrypted messages first and then send again to PGP enabled
recipients afterwards.
PGP SafeBulk also fully supports file attachments and PGP enabled recipients will recieve file
attachments encrypted with PGP.
PGP SafeBulk can easily be used as a normal group (bulk) mailer withput PGP installed but all PGP
specific features will of course be disabled when PGP is not present.
PGP SafeBulk also features a very flexible group manager which allows the user to maintain a
unlimited amouth of groups and recipients and each goup file can be password protected and
encrypted with PGP to protect your mailing lists from prying eyes.
PGP SafeBulk works perfectly with Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT and Windows 2000.

About PGP (Pretty Good Privacy)
The PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) technology was originally developted by Phil Zimmermann
(no relations to me ;-) ) and was basicly a easy and powerful way of encrypting messages based on a
public/private key scenario.
The development of PGP was since taken over by Network Associates and today there are
an entire line of PGP products from Network Assosiates: PGP Desktop, PGP Total Network Security,
PGPfreeware, ect.
In the past, no exporting from the USA of powerful encryption technology was allowed by the US
goverment and this meant it was virtually impossible for non-US citizens and companies to buy and
use PGP technology from Network Associates. This was very restricting for both Network Assiosiates
and the potiential users. However, exporting encryption technologys in written form (ie. in books) was
still legal and this meant the start of the PGPi Scanning Project which made the freeware version
of PGP (PGPfreeware) available outside USA by scanning the PGP source codes from books (exported
legally from the US) and then compiling a PGPi (international) version of PGPfreeware outside USA.
Fortunately, it now (December 1999) seems that this export-ban of encryption technology has been
lifted somewhat, at least now Network Assosiates have recieved permission to export their PGP
products to to countries outside the USA. This is great news since it will now be possible to buy
PGP products outside USA and PGP will get at much larger userbase.
The future for PGP looks bright...
